Soil pH: Agricultural lime, also known as CaCO or CaMg(CO), is used to raise soil pH and neutralize soil acidity. Soil with a pH in the low sixes or high fives is considered acidic. Soil structure: Agricultural lime improves soil structure and increases earthworm activity.
